Māori Art Market is a biennial Toi Māori event in New Zealand, featuring art exhibitions, art sales, live art demonstrations (such as wood carving and tattooing), as well as presentations and master classes. It features traditional and contemporary Māori art by Māori artists. It was inspired by the Santa Fe Indian Market.
Waharoa, also known as Te Waharoa o Aotea, [1] is a public sculpture located in Aotea Square, the city centre of Auckland, New Zealand.The expressionist piece was designed by Selwyn Muru and depicts a waharoa, a traditional Māori gateway in front of a marae ātea; the open meeting courtyard at a marae.

The Takiroa Rock Art Shelter is an archaeological site located along State Highway 83 near Duntroon, New Zealand. [2] The site features a limestone rock shelter containing several pieces of Māori rock art, dating between 1400 and 1900 AD. [3] The shelter is open to public viewing, with fences constructed to protect the artwork from damage.
