Justin A. McCarthy (born October 19, 1945) is an American demographer, former professor of history at the University of Louisville, in Louisville, Kentucky.He holds an honorary doctorate from Boğaziçi University (Turkey), was awarded the Order of Merit of Turkey (in 1998), and is a board member of the Institute of Turkish Studies [1] [2] and the Center for Eurasian Studies (AVIM). [3]
