Lane Cove River Tourist Park is a caravan park and campground in the Australian state of New South Wales located in the suburb of Macquarie Park within the boundaries of the Lane Cove National Park and about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is operated by the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service. [1]
The Lane Cove National Park is a protected national park that is located within metropolitan Sydney, in New South Wales, Australia.The 670-hectare (1,700-acre) national park is situated about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north-west of the Sydney central business district and features various vegetation types, such as, wet and dry sclerophyll forest, heathland, mangroves and tidal flats.
Northwood House was built in 1878 for Mrs Jane Davy. It was designed by the architect Edmund Blacket and built by the brothers, John and James Eaton. [1]In 1874 Mrs Davy purchased 14 hectares (34 acres) of land (later adding another 11 acres) on the peninsula into the Lane Cove River that is now the suburb of Northwood.
Northwood is a suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, eight kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Lane Cove. Northwood is on the northern side of the Lane Cove River between Woodford Bay and Gore Creek.
The concrete beam bridge is located 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) northwest of the Sydney central business district and connects Chatswood to North Ryde as part of the A38. The main entrance to Lane Cove National Park is located adjacent to the western end of Fullers Bridge.
The creek flows generally south then south-east, through the Lane Cove Bushland Park and Gore Creek Reserve before reaching its confluence with the Lane Cove River south of Greenwich Hospital. The course of the creek is approximately 2 kilometres (1.2 mi). [1] The creek is traversed by River Road at Northwood.

It is located nine kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Lane Cove. It is situated on the northern side of the Lane Cove River, at the head of Tambourine Bay; the foreshore is occupied by Tambourine Bay Park. Riverview is primarily a residential area.
