History 401 is the capstone course for the subject matter sequence of the Single Subject Credential Program at CSULB. The course draws upon students’ existing knowledge of history and history education to connect context, academic scholarship, and pedagogy. This class reviews the content and historiography of World History and US History.
Most of the students are history majors, and they will use knowledge from earlier courses to choose an article that relates to California History Standards for 6, 7, 8, 10, or 11th grade and improve their selected Wikipedia articles.
