The 8th Ohio Infantry Regiment was an infantry regiment in the Union Army during the American Civil War.It served in the Eastern Theater in a number of campaigns and battles, but perhaps is most noted for its actions in helping repulse Pickett's Charge during the Battle of Gettysburg.

International Village was a small amusement park, shopping, dining and entertainment center located on the south side of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. It operated from 1970 to 1980. An apartment complex now stands where the park once was.
The Ever Green Cemetery Association of Gettysburg was chartered in 1853. [1] It remains a private cemetery to this day. Philadelphia architect Stephen Decatur Button designed the cemetery's gatehouse in mid-1855, [ 2 ] and its cornerstone was laid by Reverend Samuel Simon Schmucker on September 1. [ 3 ]
