The United States Post Office in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania is an historic, American post office building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. [ 1 ]
It was built as a "public office house" and housed the Commonwealth offices when Lancaster was the capital from 1799 to 1812. This building, which was restored in 1924, has also housed city and county offices, a Masonic lodge, a post office, and library. [2] It now houses the Lancaster visitor's center.

US Post Office—Lancaster is a historic post office building located at Lancaster in Erie County, New York. It was designed and built 1938–1939, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. The building is in the Colonial Revival style.
