"Chasin' That Neon Rainbow" is a song written by American country music artist Alan Jackson and Jim McBride, and recorded by Jackson. It was released in September 1990 as the fourth single from Jackson's first album, Here in the Real World .
The track "Home" served as the B-side for several of Jackson's later singles, before he re-released the song in 1995 for his The Greatest Hits Collection album, and finally issued it as a single in 1996. The track "Ace of Hearts" was later recorded by Mark Wills for his self-titled debut album in 1996.
The song was also included on Jackson's album, Here in the Real World, released in February 1990, along with two other songs written by McBride and Jackson.
