The Cairo International Film Festival is an annual internationally accredited film festival held in Cairo Opera House. Established in 1976, it was the first film festival to be held in the Arab world and was the only international competitive feature film festival in the West Asia and Africa recognized by the FIAPF until Fajr International Film Festival became another west Asian festival accredited by FIAPF.
Afterwards, she became a movie star, and her beginning in cinema was through the 1928 film A Tragedy Above the Pyramid, and The Marriage in 1932. Her most notable role was in the 1939 film The Will , which is considered the first in the list of the Top 100 Egyptian films in the history of Egyptian cinema.
