My OCP check valve tool fits the '46 220 and the '55 200A that are sitting on my bench. Should fit a '53 220 just fine. In fact, the tool has fit every lantern and stove I've worked on since I got it over a year ago. I made a couple check valve removal tools. They worked fine, but I haven't used them since getting the OCP tool.

MSR sells “expedition” service kits for their stoves with spare jets, but they are typically $50, but can be found occasionally for $30ish.
