A sprytron, also known as vacuum krytron or triggered vacuum switch (TVS), is a vacuum, rather than a gas-filled, version. It is designed for use in environments with high levels of ionizing radiation, which might trigger a gas-filled krytron spuriously. It is also more immune to electromagnetic interference than gas-filled tubes.
The 6GH8 (More commonly labeled as the 6GH8A [1])is a nine pin miniature vacuum tube, produced as a combination of medium-mu Triode and sharp-cutoff Pentode. [2] It follows that the tube is divided into two sections - anode and cathode. Each of the sections had separate cathode. [3] Commonly this type of tubes are used in radio [4] and ...
For signal pentodes, an odd model number most often identified a variable-mu (remote-cutoff) tube, whereas an even number identified a 'high slope' (sharp-cutoff) tube For power pentodes and triode-pentode combinations, even numbers usually indicate linear (audio power amplifier) devices while odd numbers were more suited to video signals or ...
12AX7 (also known as ECC83 [1]) is a miniature dual-triode vacuum tube with high voltage gain.Developed around 1946 by RCA engineers [2] in Camden, New Jersey, under developmental number A-4522, it was released for public sale under the 12AX7 identifier on September 15, 1947.
6P1P tube manufactured by Svetlana, USSR (winged "C" logo), 1971 A comparison of Svetlana 6P1P (left), 6P1P-EV and Beijing Electron Tube Factory 6P1 (right) The 6P1P (Russian: 6П1П) is a Soviet-made miniature 9-pin beam tetrode vacuum tube with ratings similar to the 6AQ5, EL90 and the 6V6. Because of a different pinout (a 9-pin base versus 7 ...
Later thermionic vacuum tubes, mostly miniature style, some with top cap connections for higher voltages. A vacuum tube, electron tube, [1] [2] [3] valve (British usage), or tube (North America) [4] is a device that controls electric current flow in a high vacuum between electrodes to which an electric potential difference has been applied.
