Pre-production Bristol Bullet at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed The Bristol Bullet [ 1 ] is a two-seat, open-top sports car produced by Bristol Cars . Originally announced under the working title of "Project Pinnacle" in 2015, it was first shown to the public under camouflage at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed .
The Bristol 409 was the third series of cars from British manufacturer Bristol Cars powered by Chrysler V8 engines. It was actually introduced before the older Bristol 408 went out of production and only gradually supplanted that model after a year. There were a number of major changes to the chassis of the 409 compared to earlier Bristols.
Unlike previous or later Bristol models, there is considerable confusion in nomenclature when it comes to the Bristol 404 and 405. The Bristol 450 was a successful sports car racing prototype model, designed in 1953 by Bristol Cars and based on the abortive ERA G-type Formula Two car of 1952. The Bristol 403 is a luxury car which was produced from 1953 to 1955 by British manufacturer Bristol Aeroplane Co. (whose car division later became Bristol Cars). The 403 was the third of the eventual five series of Bristols powered by the BMW -derived pushrod straight-six engine.
