The 2020 AMA Supercross Championship is an American motorcycle racing championship that started January 4, 2020, and ended June 21, 2020. Ten of the 17 rounds had been completed when the season was suspended on March 12, 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cameron McAdoo (born December 16, 1997) [1] is an American professional Motocross and Supercross racer. McAdoo has competed in the AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross Championships since 2017. McAdoo has had his greatest successes to date in Supercross , being a three-time main event winner as well as having multiple podium finishes to his name.
Jason Anderson had a solid supercross season, consistently in the top 5 with 6 podiums. He finished with a win at the last race in Las Vegas, securing him 4th overall in the season. During the outdoor Motocross championship, Jason came out swinging with a streak of 5 consecutive podiums before crashes sidelined him for several races.
The following riders are defending champions having won their respective classes in 2020: 450 SX – Eli Tomac (Kawasaki) 250 SX West – N/A (Dylan Ferrandis has moved up to the 450 SX class with Yamaha) 250 SX East – N/A (Chase Sexton has moved up to the 450 SX class with Honda)

Adam Cianciarulo (born October 20, 1996) is an American retired [1] professional motocross and supercross racer. He competed in the AMA Motocross Championships from 2013 to 2024. [2] Cianciarulo is notable for winning the 2019 AMA Motocross 250cc Championship. [2]
FIM World Supercross Championship points will be awarded for each of the three Main Event races. Points will follow the traditional supercross format of 25, 22 and 20, 18 and 16 points respectively for first through fifth place, with the remaining 17 riders earning from 15 points to 1 point, depending on where they finish.
For 2022, McElrath signed for Rocky Mountain ATV/MC WPS KTM team for AMA Supercross and Motocross in the 450 class. [10] McElrath improved as the season went on and began to post top-10 results, before the team folded after the second Detroit round. This left McElrath without a ride to complete the supercross series and race motocross in 2022.
