"The Toxic Waltz" is a song by American thrash metal band Exodus, released from the band's third album Fabulous Disaster (1989). Although the song was never released as a single, it is one of Exodus' best-known songs and has held a regular position on their concert setlist since 1989.
Fabulous Disaster is the third studio album by American thrash metal band Exodus. It was released on January 30, 1989 [1] on the UK label Music for Nations, while the US version was released on Combat/Relativity Records. In 1999, Century Media remastered and reissued the band's first three albums in Europe only.
After the success of Fabulous Disaster, Exodus signed a multi-album deal with Capitol Records in 1989. The band's fourth album Impact is Imminent was released in June 1990. Despite being released on a major label, Impact Is Imminent was not as successful as Fabulous Disaster and debuted at No. 137 on the Billboard 200. [28]

Souza's voice is reminiscent of AC/DC's former vocalist Bon Scott, and can be heard on the AC/DC covers that Exodus recorded, including "Overdose" on 1989's Fabulous Disaster, and "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" on 2004's Tempo of the Damned. On November 1st 2024 Exodus' cover of AC/DC's "Beating Around the Bush" was released.
Fabulous Disaster formed in San Francisco in 1998 and released their debut album, Pretty Killers (Evil Eye Records, 1999). In 2000, they signed to Fat Wreck Chords', Pink and Black imprint. They toured heavily to promote their second album, Put Out or Get Out.
Bonded by Blood was originally titled A Lesson in Violence, but had its name changed when a suitable cover idea could not be found.An advance cassette copy of the album (with the original title) was widely distributed through the tape-trading network upon the record's completion late in the summer of 1984, creating an immense underground buzz prior to the official release of the LP.
