Tax Map. The Knox County Tax Map Office is your first stop for real estate descriptions, land title research and maps or survey drawings. We are conveniently located with the County Auditor’s and Recorder’s Offices, on the first floor of the Knox County Service Center in Mount Vernon.
The Tax Map office archives all survey drawings, addresses, railroad right of way maps, and tax maps (property owner maps) ranging from 1871 to present. Countywide aerial photos are available for several different years. Knox County Road Maps and custom maps are also available.
