Lincoln station (also known as Haymarket station to distinguish it from the previous Lincoln station) is an Amtrak intercity train station in Lincoln, Nebraska, served daily by the California Zephyr. The station opened on June 26, 2012, replacing a station originally built in 1926 by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad. [2]
The area is a tourist attraction [2] and home to the Haymarket Park baseball stadium. Its historic significance has been recognized by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Lincoln Haymarket Historic District.
