12 March 1920 A former pleasure cruiser/patrol craft that was sunk by ice off Detroit. Cyprus United States: 11 October 1907 The lake freighter sank during a storm on Lake Superior. The ship went down in 460 feet (140 m) of water about 7 nautical miles (13 km) north of Deer Park in Luce County. All but one of the 23 members of the crew perished.
