In the Shibuya Incident, Yuji encounters the vengeful Death Painting Choso, who leaves him close to death, allowing Jogo to feed him 11 of Sukuna's fingers. Sukuna takes over and wreaks havoc in Shibuya. Yuji feels responsible for the hundreds of thousands of people Sukuna kills and seeks to stop Kenjaku at all costs.

Jujutsu Kaisen (呪術廻戦, rgh. "Sorcery Battle") [b] is a Japanese anime television series produced by MAPPA, based on the manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami.The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to eliminate a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host.
Jogo force-feeds an unconscious Yuji ten of Sukuna's fingers at once, powering Sukuna enough to temporarily take over his body. Sukuna kills Jogo and battles Megumi's uncontrollable shikigami Mahoraga, causing Shibuya's near-destruction in the process. After regaining consciousness, Yuji witnesses Mahito killing his mentor and Gojo's colleague ...
Elsewhere, Sukuna and Jogo engage in a fiery battle that absolutely decimates Shibuya. Sukuna toys with Jogo before using his "Open" technique, revealing his capability to use fire as well. Jogo is incinerated in seconds, and reunites with Hanami and Dagon in a white void. Sukuna compliments Jogo on his strength, causing him to cry.
The song served as the opening theme for the sixth episode onwards ("Shibuya Incident" arc) of the second season of the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen, which is the band’s second time to work with the anime since "Ichizu" and "Sakayume" for the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Yuji tries to convince Junpei to come to Jujutsu High with him, telling him there are strong teachers there who can help. Mahito then arrives and Junpei realizes he was being manipulated by him, only for Mahito to turn Junpei into a disfigured creature. Yuji pleads for Sukuna's help but Sukuna simply refuses and laughs at him alongside Mahito.
