The State Theatre is a historic one-screen movie theater in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Opened in 1926, it operated continuously until 1990 when it was closed amidst the popularity of multiplexes . In 2005, a city-supported group was formed to finance the renovation and re-opening of the venue.
Completed in 2014, the arena has a seating capacity of approximately 12,000 spectators and replaces the DakotaDome and Rushmore Plaza Civic Center as the largest indoor venue in South Dakota. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center, or Tulsa PAC, is a performing arts venue in the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It houses four main theatres, a studio space, an art gallery [1] and a sizeable reception hall. Its largest theater is the 2,365-seat Chapman Music Hall. The Center regularly hosts events by 14 local performance groups.
