The Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) (Urdu: پاکستان موَسسہَ سائنس) is an institution under the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of Pakistan. It funds scientific studies , research and development .
It also contains information about science, engineering and technology for research and development of technology. An expanded project of the Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR) and a subsidiary of the Pakistan Science Foundation, it is headquartered in Quaid-i-Azam University campus, Islamabad.
In 1976, the headquarters was shifted to a rented building in Islamabad, with financial assistance from the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF). [12] The rented building contained the library of the academy, a committee room, office rooms for the Secretary, the editor and officestaff, and a couple of guest rooms for visiting fellows. [13]
