Connecticut Route 10 is a state highway that runs from Interstate 95 (I-95) in New Haven Massachusetts state line, where it continues as Massachusetts Route 10, which in turn continues directly to New Hampshire Route 10. Route 10 was originally commissioned in 1922 as New England Route 10, connecting Old Saybrook to Granby.

The main station of the Essex Steam Train is located in Centerbrook. The steam train has tracks from Amtrak's Shore Line (part of the Northeast Corridor) in Old Saybrook to Haddam.
