Greg Charles Kampe (/ ˈ k æ m p i /; born December 9, 1955) is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at Oakland University. [1] He guided the Golden Grizzlies to their first NCAA Division I tournament in 2005, winning in the First Four round.
Kampe is the longest-tenured active Division I head coach. [2] Oakland last played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2024. Through the 2022–23 season, Oakland has made a three-point field goal in 1,093 consecutive games, the fourth-longest active NCAA Division I streak.
