Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese anime television series based on Koyoharu Gotouge's manga series of the same name. The anime series adaptation by Ufotable was announced in Weekly Shōnen Jump in June 2018. [1] The series aired from April 6 to September 28, 2019, on Tokyo MX, GTV, GYT, and BS11.

Revelations: The Demon Slayer, originally developed in Japan as Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible, is the first game in the series. The first part, titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train Arc, [a] is a seven-episode recompilation of the "Mugen Train" arc as featured in the 2020 anime film. It contains new music and an all new anime original episode which takes place immediately before the main story.

Realizing Nezuko was not the killer and retained her humanity to an extent, Tanjiro protects her from a demon slayer named Giyū Tomioka and convinces him to spare Nezuko while vowing to make her human again. An impressed Giyū instructs Tanjiro to meet a man named Sakonji Urokodaki on Mt. Sagiri while warning him to keep his sister out of the sun.
When Zenitsu and Shoichi are cornered by a demon, he loses consciousness out of fear, and whilst asleep, he uses his Thunder Breathing to kill it.
