The Baudette River is a short tributary of the Rainy River in northern Minnesota in the United States. Via the Rainy River, Lake of the Woods, the Winnipeg River, Lake Winnipeg and the Nelson River, it is part of the Hudson Bay watershed. It drains a flat region which was a prehistoric lake bed of glacial Lake Agassiz.

The Naniboujou Club Lodge is a resort and restaurant built as part of a private club on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Cook County, Minnesota, United States, about 15 miles (24 km) east of Grand Marais. It is named after Naniboujou, a character from the Cree, and the lodge's décor has both Native American and Art Deco influences.
The river enters the southern end of Lake of the Woods approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of the towns of Baudette and Rainy River. A dam at International Falls generates hydroelectricity from the river. The drainage basin of the river stretches east to the height of land about 100 kilometres (62 mi) west of Lake Superior.
