"I Can't Help Myself" is a debut single released in 2008 recorded and co-produced by British remixer/producer Chris Dececio under his project name Bellatrax (with collaborators Bruce Elliott-Smith and Italian producer Steph Mazzacani) featuring fellow British vocalist/songwriter Sophia May (née Hurst).
Mike DeGagne of AllMusic said that "Money have a perfect balance of catchy, hook-induced music and well-written lyrics, he also sports more confidence and energy throughout Can't Hold Back's material than ever before. Although tailored for radio, the songs aren't hindered by what could have been a mediocre, humdrum rock formula.
The band went on to record two other albums – 1981's New York Cake (which included the minor hits "She's a Star", "Don't Try to Stop Me" and "Can't Hold Back") and 1983's Another Life (including the title track and "I Need Love"). Both albums featured West Indian-born singer Glen White.
