George W. Hill (December 13, 1916 – March 3, 2003) was an American Baptist pastor, a peace activist, and a leading liberal Protestant voice who played an important role in the founding of the United States Institute of Peace. He was born in 1913 in Los Angeles, California. Hill attended the University of Southern California.

Reverend Steve Hill was an American Christian clergyman and evangelist. He is best known as the evangelist who preached in what became known as the Brownsville Revival . It was a series of meetings at Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida that began on Father's Day , 1995 and continued for five years.
The primary part of the revival ended in 2000 when Hill moved on to pursue other works. [4] In 2003, Hill founded a church in the Dallas area where he served as senior pastor. [7] After a long bout with cancer, Hill died in March 2014. [8] Cooley left in October 2003. [2]
