The manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1989 to 1996 and the first anime series aired from 1991 to 1992, covering the first 10 volumes of the manga, while the second one aired from 2020 to 2022 and covered the entire series, both produced by Toei Animation.
Hitoshi Nanba was born in Niigata Prefecture. [2] He started working in the anime industry in 1982 and was put in charge of directing for the first time with Dash! Yonkuro in 1989. [3] Following Dash! Yonkuro, he directed the anime adaptation of Gosick in 2011. [4] In 2018, he was put in charge of the anime adaptation of Golden Kamuy. [5]
