The Dean Bulldogs football team represents Dean College in college football at the NCAA Division III level. The Bulldogs are members of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC), having joined the conference in 2025. The main building of the Academy, Dean Hall, was completed in 1868. During the summer of 1872, it was destroyed by a fire, but reconstruction began and finished on June 7, 1874. The school's name changed twice more, Dean Junior College in May 1941 and then Dean College in May 1994. [4] The school's academic mascot is a bulldog named Boomer.

Andrae Murphy (born April 11, 1986) is an American college football coach. He was the head football coach for Dean College from 2022 to 2024. He also coached for Everglades High School, J. P. Taravella High School, Massachusetts Maritime, Florida Atlantic, Holy Cross, and Columbia.
