The Hustler was a Mini-based project designed in 1978 by Aston Martin Lagonda designer William Towns and later developed into a kit car by his Interstyl design studio. The original version used upper and lower square-section steel frames, clad with glass fibre panels and large flat glass windows. On most models sliding side windows acted as doors.
GKD Sports Cars was founded in 2006 when company MD Peter Lathrope purchased the Ginetta G27 project. [1] The car was then modified to improve aerodynamics and styling. Blakely Auto Works (also called Bernardi Auto Works in later years) was a manufacturer of automobiles and of kit cars, working from premises located in a series of US midwest communities, including Princeton, Wisconsin, in the 1970s and 1980s. Blakely produced several kit car models, the Bantam, Bearcat, and Bernardi.

The Avenger GT was the successor to the Aztec in Fiberfab's lineup. Some of the company's early documentation refers to it as the Aztec Avenger GT. [1] The Avenger GT's styling recalls the Ford GT40 — the Mk.I and Mk.III GT40s in particular — but is not an exact copy of the racing car.
The outfit gained its name from Jim Kellison [1] and Randy Markham, the two co-creators who started the operation. Up until at least 1989, the Kelmark GT was still available as a kit albeit the manufacturer was Kelmark Motors in Holt, Michigan. The cars are all "rare" models, but the Volkswagen-powered Kelmark GT was the most popular.
According to the Bradley newsletter the first production GT was delivered in September 1970. [1] The car was available in kit form in different levels of completeness, or as an assembled vehicle. A completed GT weighed approximately 1,600 lb (725.7 kg). [12] The GT's body was a two-seat coupe with low curved sides and no doors.
