The Cluj-Napoca Botanical Garden, officially Alexandru Borza Cluj-Napoca University Botanic Garden (Romanian: Grădina Botanică Alexandru Borza a Universității Cluj-Napoca), is a botanical garden located in the south part of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
The garden is located in Chișinău, Botanica, Moldova. In 1973, a new botanical garden was established in the Botanica sector of Chișinău. Two years later, the garden was given the status of a Research Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Moldovan SSR. There are around ten thousand species of plants in the garden.
The total area of the metropolitan area is 1,603 km 2 (619 sq mi), which comprises 24% of the territory of Cluj County. According to the 2021 census, the population of the 20 administrative units totals 425,130 people, of whom 286,598 live in Cluj-Napoca. [1]

The Botanical Garden of Craiova was founded in 1952 at the initiative and under the guidance of prof. Alexandru Buia (1911–1964).
