Benbrook is a town located in the southwestern corner of Tarrant County, Texas, United States, and a suburb of Fort Worth.As of the 2010 United States census, the population was 21,234, [4] reflecting an increase of 1,026 from the 20,208 counted in the 2000 census, which had in turn increased by 644 from the 19,564 counted in the 1990 census.

Area code 469 was introduced on July 1, 1999, in an overlay plan for most of the eastern portion of the Metroplex. At the same time, the 214/972 boundary was "erased," and 972 was converted into an additional overlay for the entire region. The result was three area codes overlaying the same area, with ten-digit dialing required for all calls.
Evant is located on the border of Coryell and Hamilton counties. U.S. Routes 84 and 281 intersect on the north side of town; US 84 leads east 24 miles (39 km) to Gatesville and west 25 miles (40 km) to Goldthwaite, while US 281 leads north 16 miles (26 km) to Hamilton and south 29 miles (47 km) to Lampasas.
FM 1187 begins at Interstate 20 (I-20) west of Fort Worth, north of Aledo.The highway runs south to Aledo, where it intersects FM 5.Here, FM 1187 turns to the east.
