The Portuguese Marine Corps (Portuguese: Corpo de Fuzileiros, lit. 'Corps of Fusiliers') is the special operations capable amphibious force of the Portuguese Navy . It has roles similar to the ones of the USMC Reconnaissance Battalions and of the British Royal Marine Commandos .
