Thrissur Pooram (transl. Thrissur fest) is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language action film directed by Rajesh Mohan and written by Ratheesh Vegha who also composed the music. It stars Jayasurya, Swathi Reddy, Sabumon Abdusamad, Vijay Babu, Sudev Nair, T.G. Ravi, Sreejith Ravi, Manikuttan, Indrans, Sudheer Karamana, Sadiq, Valsala Menon, and Mallika Sukumaran.

The film was officially announced on 20 September 2019, with principal photography commencing the same day. [ 7 ] [ 8 ] Anu Moothedath handled the cinematography. The film was shot in three different locations across Gundlupet , Karnataka and Kerala ; according to Moothedath, Aboob's house was set in Karnataka and Sujata's in Kerala.
The Thrissur Pooram is an annual Hindu temple festival held in Thrissur, Kerala, India. It is held at the Vadakkunnathan Temple in Thrissur every year on the Pooram day—the day when the moon rises with the Pooram star in the Malayalam Calendar month of Medam. It is the largest and most famous of all poorams in India. [2]
