The genre description in the lead is not accurate; it is described as a pop and Japanese rock song in the body, while it is inaccurately shown the other way round here
I heard such cloth filters being called "gags", in Catalyst, which is a chemical industry museum in Runcorn in Cheshire in England. And in my street I once saw a man OTM-gagged spray-painting his car: it indeed acted as a gag when he tried to talk to me while wearing it, as well as filtering out the paint spray.
