Chadderton is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, Greater Manchester, England, on the River Irk and Rochdale Canal.It is located in the foothills of the Pennines, 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Oldham, 5 miles (8.0 km) south of Rochdale and 6 miles (9.7 km) north-east of Manchester.
Chadderton Park is a suburban area of Chadderton in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, Greater Manchester. It is located a little under one mile to the west of Chadderton's commercial centre on Middleton Road and is contiguous with the Mills Hill and Firwood Park areas of the town.
Chadderton Hall Park is located on Chadderton Hall Road (B6195) towards the north of Chadderton.It lies at the bottom of Chadderton Heights. The geography of the park itself is like a bowl, the grass fields lie in the centre of the park at the lowest point and the land to either side of the fields is higher.

The area now known as Middleton Junction originally comprised a number of hamlets situated along Grimshaw Lane and Foxdenton Lane on the border of Chadderton and Tonge townships – Lane End and Hillock (described in the early 1800s as "a pleasant hamlet") in Chadderton, Bradshaw Fold and Jumbo in Tonge (Tonge was a former township which was incorporated into Middleton in the late 19th century).
