To close 2017, Banda El Recodo won their 10th Latin Grammy, in the "Best Banda Album" category for their album Ayer y Hoy. Aside from celebrating their win, the band performed completely live on stage at the Latin Grammy 2017, a medley that included the songs "En Mi Viejo San Juan" and "Viva Mexico."
