Justice League Unlimited is an American superhero animated television series that was produced by Warner Bros. Animation and aired on Cartoon Network.Featuring a wide array of superheroes from the DC Comics universe, and specifically based on the Justice League superhero team, it is a direct sequel to the previous Justice League animated series.
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Amazons fight them until Superman vaporizes them with his heat vision. Batman, however, discovers Kara missing and Lyla dead, with Darkseid ordering the attack as a diversion to allow time for Granny to kidnap Kara. On Apokolips, Darkseid brainwashes her into becoming the captain of the Furies.
The two episodes in a given week were a single storyline in 26 of the 30 weeks that made up season 2. The four weeks that were the exception to this were during weeks 19–22 of the season, with three storylines that each crossed over into the following week; a three-parter, followed by a two-parter, followed by another three-parter.
Orion informs Darkseid that New Genesis's leader, Highfather, has placed Earth under his protection and as such any further aggression will breach the peace treaty between New Genesis and Apokolips. Darkseid calls off the attack and as a last act of spite vaporizes Dan Turpin to ashes. Superman, enraged with grief, begins to destroy an enemy tank.
Part II : Darkseid catches onto the trick and plots an elaborate scheme to expose Superman to the gold kryptonite that he won. El Dorado, Batman, and Superman travel to the Moon of Games to confront Kalibak about which star has Darkseid imprisoned Black Vulcan, Wonder Woman, and Firestorm. El Dorado hatches a plan with the help of Batman.

The League is tricked into defending Darkseid's homeworld of Apokolips against Brainiac, despite Superman's skepticism and his anger at their previous encounter. The team solicits the aid of the New Gods, including Orion, Lightray, and Highfather. In the ensuing battle, Brainiac and Darkseid are presumed dead, though Superman believes otherwise.
On Earth, after Darkseid's eyes are destroyed by the Justice League, Cyborg reopens the Boom Tubes to return Darkseid and his army to Apokolips. Darkseid fights back, and with Superman and Batman's assistance, the group force him through the portal. With the world saved, the superheroes gain the public's trust and are honored at the White House.
