La Grange High School is a public high school in La Grange, Texas, United States. It is a part of the La Grange Independent School District located in central Fayette County . In 2015, the school was rated " Met Standard " by the Texas Education Agency .
The school's mascot is the Granger. [2] In France, it is common to use the term "la grange" to indicate a farm, as barns are a common feature. The French term "grange" (with an anglicized pronunciation) came also to be used colloquially as a name for a farm, and later a granger became a term for a farmer, with this use most commonly in the American North and Midwest.

The 1968 Lafayette Leopards football team was an American football team that represented Lafayette College during the 1968 NCAA College Division football season. Lafayette tied for third in the Middle Atlantic Conference, University Division , and placed last in the Middle Three Conference .
It moved to North Hwy 393 in LaGrange in 1953. The old high school was converted into First Baptist Church of La Grange in the mid-1960s. The original building burned in the 1990s, replaced by a church. [2] In 1989 South Oldham High School opened due to overcrowding at Oldham, and in 2003 North Oldham High School opened as the community grew. [3]
WTRP is the flagship station for LaGrange College Panthers football, baseball, and basketball teams, Bill Bailey serving as the voice of the Panthers. WTRP is also home to the most Troup County High School Sports coverage on the radio with high school football coverage of the Lafayette Christian School Cougars.
