The 2020 LPGA Tour was the 71st edition of the LPGA Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The season began at the Four Season Golf Club in Lake Buena Vista, Florida , on January 16 and ended on December 20 at the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida . [ 3 ]
It is based on the list on the LPGA Tour's official site, which differs slightly from the main win lists on player's personal profiles on the site. The wins counted here include professional titles won before the tour was founded in 1950; and LPGA Tour events won as an amateur, or as an international invitee before joining the LPGA Tour.
The move to Lake Nona also eliminates an issue that the 18th hole, a par 3, caused at Four Seasons where the 2020 tournament was pushed to an extra day on Monday morning as the single playoff hole (the 18th) failed to produce a winner, and it was the seventh playing of the 18th hole that finally created a winner.
In 2010, the field was reduced to 63 players and the purse reduced to $1.3 million. The purse increased to $1.4 million in 2011. [3] The purse will increase from the $1.6 million in 2021, to $1.7 million in 2022. [4] As a limited field tournament, there is no cut and all players in the field play all four rounds.

The Ohio tournament was held in July 2020 as the LPGA Tour's first tournament since the tour was halted in February 2020. The Ohio tournament was hosted at the Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio. [1] The tournament did not have spectators nor a pro-am, and it featured a field of 144 players.
The 2020 event, scheduled for 27–30 August at the Centurion Club in St Albans, England, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [ 8 ] In October 2022, the LPGA announced the return of the event for the 2023 season with a new name and title sponsor, the Hanwha LifePlus International Crown.
