The NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship is the annual tournament held by the NCAA to determine the top men's Division II College soccer program in the United States. It has been played annually since 1972; prior to that, all teams competed in a single class.
Dec. 7—The Franklin Pierce men's soccer team rallied from a deficit to beat Lewis University 3-2 on Thursday in an NCAA Division II men's soccer tournament semifinal in Matthews, North Carolina.
All Division II men's soccer programs were eligible to qualify for the 38-team tournament field. No teams received automatic bids; at-large bids are based on the teams' regular season records and the Quality of Winning Percentage Index. [2]
