Splitsvilla 5 is the fifth season of Indian reality show MTV Splitsvilla. Shot in Jim Corbett National Park, the season premiered on 7 April 2012 and was hosted by Nikhil Chinapa. [5] [6] The finale aired on 24 June 2012 where Paras Chhabra and Akanksha Popli became winners.
Chhabra started his career in 2012 by participating in MTV India's Splitsvilla 5 and emerged as the winner with Akanksha Popli. Siddharth won the reality show along with Sakshi Pradhan winning Rs 5,00,000. He was a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 5 in 2011 and became the second runner-up.
