Harvard Shaker Village Historic District is a historic former Shaker community located roughly on Shaker Road, South Shaker Road, and Maple Lane in Harvard, Massachusetts. It was the second oldest Shaker settlement in Massachusetts and the third oldest (after New Lebanon (1787) and Hancock, Mass (1790)) in the United States.
Watervliet Shaker Historic District, in Colonie, New York, is the site of the first Shaker community, established in 1776. The primary Shaker community, the Mount Lebanon Shaker Society, was started a bit later. Watervliet's historic 1848 Shaker meetinghouse has been restored and is used for public events, such as concerts.

The Harvard Shaker Village Historic District is located in the vicinity of Shaker Road, South Shaker Road, and Maple Lane. At its largest, the Shakers owned about 2,000 acres of land in Harvard. By 1890, the Harvard community had dwindled to less than 40, from a peak of about 200 in the 1850s. In 1917 the Harvard Shaker Village was closed and sold.
Route 220 then shifts to use Shaker Road heading northeast for about three miles (5 km) and intersecting with Route 192 along the way. In the vicinity of the state correctional facility, Route 220 turns north along Taylor Road. Shaker Road continues as unsigned Special Service Road 404, which leads to the main building of the correctional facility.

Shaker High School is a public high school in Latham, Albany County, New York, United States, and is the only high school operated by the North Colonie Central School District. It is part of the North Colonie Central Schools school district and is partly fed by Shaker Middle School.
