Felix manages to get them off, and carry on in his flight. Finally, Felix sees his destination and makes a landing. To his surprise, however, he finds nobody waiting for him to offer the prize money. Instead, he sees a pack of hungry cannibals ready to make a meal out of him. The cat makes his run as one of the cannibals approaches.
The camera, and therefore the viewer, is "brought into" the club through the front door. A group of anthropomorphic barnyard animals, among them Felix the Cat, are shown drinking and carousing. Felix himself is first shown standing atop a table with a foaming mug of beer in hand.
They actually debuted in Felix the Cat Weathers the Weather (1926), returning in several more 1920s shorts before April Maze. Sometimes three kittens were used, in which case the third was called Dinky. In Eskimotive (1928), Inky appeared solo. In the 1950s, two nephews appeared with Felix in their own comic books.
