The Rocky River is a relatively short river in Cuyahoga County, Ohio that forms the natural western boundaries of Cleveland and the suburb of Lakewood with the suburbs of Fairview Park and Rocky River. The latter community is named after the river.
Reedy Creek Park is a 125-acre (51 ha) urban park at 2900 Rocky River Road in the Newell section of Charlotte, North Carolina. Adjacent to the park is a 737 acre nature preserve. The main park contains courts and fields for basketball, softball, tennis, soccer, horseshoes, cricket, and volleyball.

The Robinson Stone House was probably built between 1780 and 1810. In September, 1979, the site was acquired by the City of Charlotte to be incorporated into a new park and nature preserve. [2] It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. [1]
