The Jordan River Utah Temple (formerly the Jordan River Temple) is the 20th operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located in South Jordan, Utah. The trend continued with the Provo Utah Temple (15), and eight years later with the Jordan River Utah Temple (20). Each temple was larger than the last (128,325 sq ft (11,921.8 m 2) and 148,236 sq ft (13,771.6 m 2), respectively), and added more sealing rooms: twelve for Provo and seventeen for Jordan River.
