Robert Alan Probert (June 5, 1965 – July 5, 2010) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward. Probert played for the National Hockey League 's Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks .
Joseph George "Joey" Kocur (born December 21, 1964) [1] is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He is best known for his activities as a fighter and enforcer, as well as being one half of the "Bruise Brothers" with then- Detroit Red Wings teammate Bob Probert, during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
He fought Bob Probert in each of the three periods in a 2–1 Blue Jackets loss to the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center on January 10, 2002. [2] The three fights by the same two adversaries in a single NHL match would next be achieved fourteen years later when Evander Kane and Alex Petrovic did it on February 9, 2016. [3]
