Riot V is an American heavy metal band from New York City.Originally known as Riot, the band was formed in the summer of 1975 with an original lineup of vocalist Guy Speranza, lead guitarist Mark Reale, rhythm guitarist Louie "L.A." Kouvaris, bassist Phil Feit and drummer Peter Bitelli.
Riot's sound initially started out as straightforward heavy metal, but since their 1988 release Thundersteel, their musical style has shifted a little towards power metal. In 2013, surviving members of Riot re-formed the band to Riot V, after the death of founder, guitarist, primary songwriter and leader Mark Reale.
