It is located along the north side of Interstate 580 at the intersection with Interstate 680, roughly 35 miles (56 km) east of downtown San Francisco, 23 miles (37 km) east of downtown Oakland, and 31 miles (50 km) north of downtown San Jose.

Old St. Raymond Church is a historic church in Dublin, California.The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 12, 2006.. The oldest extant Catholic church in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, it was built in 1859 and dedicated in 1860.
On April 3, 1934, county residents voted overwhelming in support for a bond initiative to build a new county courthouse. The new building was built on the edge of Lake Merritt, where it still stands today, as the René C. Davidson Courthouse. [5] The old courthouse was demolished in 1949. [4]

The park is accessible from the Donlon Hill Staging Area, which is on Dublin Boulevard near Dublin, California.
