Do not explicitly define the size of an image in pixels unless there is a good reason to do so. Preferably the size should be specified as a value relative to the user's preferred thumbnail width, using the |upright= scaling factor parameter rather than pixel values, whenever an image is to be displayed at something other than the default width.
Multiple files upload is not available – a user can upload only 1 file a time. Limited upload size - it is usually impossible to send files up to dozens of megabytes (MB) via HTTP. No optimization before uploading files is available. Poor visualization – a user cannot see any information about the upload progress and estimated upload time.
If you have detailed information about the image, for example the name of the species or the size of the object, please add it. If you create images to upload that need to show the size of a depicted object, images with a ruler are better than images with a coin or similar item, since not everyone has access to the same type of item.
Graphics programs also allow you to reduce the image to a particular size before saving. If images are for use in infoboxes only, and are being used under fair use rules, they should not be any larger than the size displayed, e.g. 220–300 pixels wide.
