The 7th Provincial Legislature was elected on 29 May 2024 in South Africa's 2024 general elections. A majority of the members belong to the African National Congress. At the commencement of the 7th provincial legislature on 14 June 2024, the number of seats allocated to the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature increased from 30 to 51. [3]
