Kitsap Humane Society is open for walk-through animal viewing from noon to 5 pm, and adoptions from noon to 4 pm, every day except Tuesday. Adoption updates take several hours. We cannot guarantee that specific animals listed on our website will still be available by the time you visit our shelter.

Currently, Kitsap Humane Society has very limited capacity to take in or house feral or community cats at this time. Therefore, we will have a limited number of barn cats available for adoption. Kitsap Humane Society offers low-cost spay/neuter surgery for cats and dogs to Kitsap County pet owners (and some Mason County pet owners) that meet our annual income guidelines. Surgeries are performed on weekdays, by appointment only, and must be scheduled online .
